FREE Math Play Dough Mats

Taking the time to build fine motor skills is just as important as teaching numbers and counting.   Today I'm sharing a set of play dough mats with you. While using these play dough mats children will learn math and develop fine motor skills, all in a fun hands-on way.   Ten frames are a great way to engage your child physically in the math they are doing, and help them to visualize it through manipulatives while still getting to see the numbers and math problems they are solving.  To prepare the number mats you can simply print onto regular printer paper, then laminate. Or you could cover them with self adhesive plastic or put them in a plastic sheet protector. Add a couple of cans of play dough and dry erase markers and you have a ready-to-go Math Station!!
